Children’s Nursery

On Sunday mornings, Providence provides a staffed nursery in our Fellowship Hall for children up to age 3 who receive supervised play time while parents attend Sunday School (9:15-10:15 am) and Worship (10:30 am-Noon). We have a separate Infant Nursery and Toddler Room (“2’s & 3’s Room”). We also provide childcare for special occasions as announced.

For more information on the Nursery, please contact Andrea Kidder at admin@providencecapecoral.com.

Sunday School (Children & Adults)

For ages 2 through 12th grade from 9:15-10:15 am on Sundays in our Education Building, our teachers lead children in age-appropriate studies of God’s Word using a biblical, evangelical, and Reformed curriculum. If a child begins at age 2 and continues through high school, he or she should cover the entire Old and New Testaments. For more information on Children’s Sunday School, please see Grace Fox, Beth Wisner, or Jacqueline Ehlers.

For adults, we present a Sunday School curriculum designed to deepen our understanding of what it means to be Reformed and Presbyterian. This comprehensive program, led primarily by Pastors Lauder and Stonecipher, with assistance from other men in our congregation, explores the rich theological heritage of our faith. Adult Sunday School meets in the Fellowship Hall at 9:15 am on Sundays before worship. Watch previous classes on our Sunday School page.

FLOCKS Groups

FLOCKS groups are small group Bible studies led by Providence members. They include prayer, worship, and sharing of what God is doing in our lives.

The name “FLOCKS” is an acrostic that serves to remind us why we are meeting.

Fellowship — a place for friendship
In a world where we struggle with hardship and sin, FLOCKS groups seek to be places where people and relationships can be rewoven through the restoring power of the Gospel.

Leadership Training — a place where gifts are exercised
FLOCKS groups are places where spiritual gifts, including a vision for ministry and service, can be discovered and developed.

Outreach — a place to discover Christianity
FLOCKS groups are places where those seeking truth can be invited and encouraged to put their faith in Jesus Christ.

Caring — a place of mutual ministry
The Bible tells us to encourage, serve, rejoice with, weep with, correct, instruct, sing to, build up, accept, and love one another, and FLOCKS groups provide opportunities to fulfill those commands.

Knowledge of Christ — a place of growth in the Gospel
In each FLOCKS group we expect to experience Jesus Christ in our midst, in His presence and power, ministering to us and through us to one another, as He promised.

Service — a place of sacrificial love
In our FLOCKS groups, we seek to display the sacrificial love the Bible calls us to by providing opportunities to bring healing and restoration to those around us.

How do I join a FLOCKS group?

The current list of FLOCKS groups can be found each week printed in the Sunday morning bulletin. A complete list can also be given to you by calling the church office. All groups are open to visitors.

Start by choosing a group that best fits your schedule and location. Feel free to visit it several times before making a decision to join or perhaps try another group.

For more information, please call the Church Office at 239-549-5556 or click here to send us a message.
