Easter Season at Providence – Gather, Remember, Rejoice!
As we step into the beauty and hope of the Easter season, we invite you to mark your calendars and join us for several meaningful gatherings at church. Spring is a time of renewal, celebration, and reflection — and we look forward to sharing it together as a church family.

???? Palm Sunday Potluck – March 29
On Palm Sunday, March 29, we will gather for a special potluck brunch immediately following the service. This is always a sweet time of fellowship as we begin Holy Week together.
If you’re able, please bring a brunch dish that serves approximately 8–10 people. Some ideas include:
-
Egg or potato casserole
-
Muffins or pastries
-
Bacon or sausage
-
Yogurt and fruit
Whether you bring something savory or sweet, your presence is what matters most. We can’t wait to share a meal and conversation with you!
???? New Sermon Series: The Book of Exodus
This spring, we are also beginning a new sermon series in the Book of Exodus. Together, we will journey through this powerful story of deliverance, covenant, and God’s faithful presence with His people.
Exodus reminds us that the Lord hears the cries of His people, leads them through the wilderness, and calls them into covenant relationship. We hope you will join us each week as we explore how this foundational book of Scripture shapes our understanding of redemption and hope — especially during the Easter season.

✝️ Good Friday Service – April 3 at 6:30 PM
Join us on Friday, April 3 at 6:30 PM for our Good Friday Service. This will be a reverent time of worship and reflection as we remember Christ’s sacrifice and prepare our hearts for Easter Sunday.

As this is a shortened service, the nursery will be opened but unstaffed.

???? Easter Egg Collection Traditional Worship Service & Egg Hunt – April 5
Our annual Easter celebration continues on Easter Sunday, April 5, at 10:30am with a traditional Easter worship service, followed by our Easter Egg Hunt. All are welcome, including visiting family and out of town guests.
To help make this event special for our children, we are collecting:
-
Unstuffed plastic eggs
-
Individually wrapped candy (no chocolate or peanuts, please)
-
Stickers
-
Small toys
Donations can be placed in the clear collection tub in the foyer.
If you have any questions, please see Andrea Kidder or Beth Wisner. Thank you for helping us create a joyful and welcoming Easter celebration for our church families!

We are grateful for each of you and look forward to walking through this sacred and celebratory season together. ????✨
